More Information
Trusts - on-line

If you have a current Super Maintenance agreement you are entitled to email contact with our team of financial and legal experts, who can give you assistance, advise and opinions. However many of your questions will be answered already - there is much more information, including FAQs, within the 'News and Info' Section of the Members area. There is no charge and no obligation on your part in becoming a member.

I get an error when accessing the website
This website was developed for home users, using IE5 and above. It should work fine for other browsers, and for most operating systems. However if you get an error of any description please email tech@trustsonline.co.nz with as many details as you can, and we will investigate. Typically we would like to know: what screen were you using; what inputs did you make; what error message did you get; what operating system (and version), what browser (and version), and so forth.
I cannot log into the members area
Check you are entering the email address and password in the same case as you entered it originally. If you are being told that the account is not active, this is because the setup phase did not reach the stage where a user account was set up for you. In this case, contact us to activate the account (or we can remove it and allow you to start again). Also make sure you have cookies enabled, or you will not be able to gain access.
When I try to register as a user it tells me that my email address is already on file
This probably means that you got most of the way through setting up your Trust. This may also happen if your dialup session is disconnected part way through setting up the account. Contact us, we will remove the record and you can start again.
How can I make payment? Back to top
We accept Visa and Mastercard payments from this website, plus cheque or electronic transfer. If you pay by credit card you will receive your Trust Documents immediately; other payments must clear before we can release your documents [this is generally next day for electronic transfers, or 5-10 days for cheques]. Post cheques to: Trusts On-Line, PO Box 96 214, Balmoral, Auckland. Electronic transfer details are given to you at Trust setup time.
Must my browser have cookies enabled?
Yes. The website cannot function properly without them, and you will be denied access to your data.Cookies are temporary files which are removed when you exit your browser..
Can you create or administer a Charitable Trust for me?
No, we deal solely with Family/Business Trusts. We suggest you contact a lawyer or accountant, we can recommend either if you wish.
Can I setup and administer Trusts on behalf of other people?
Yes, absolutely, the site is able to look after multiple Trusts from a single user logon.
Can I meet one of your representatives and ask more questions?
We plan to run regular question and answer sessions through out the country, where you can come along and ask those nagging questions.
I have a complex set of circumstances and will need regular help.
Sign up for our Super Maintenance - this gives you email access to our financial and legal experts, who can give you advice you can use for your decision making.
I live in Australia/Canada/United Kingdom/India - can I use your site?
No, this site creates and maintains Family Trusts for New Zealand residents. However we are currently developing sites for your countries.
Do you keep my credit card details on your computer?
No. We have no record of your credit card details, you are redirected to the ANZ Bank's e-gate system, which securely takes your details and makes the transaction. We do not even know what your credit card number is. Consequently, and for your own protection, you will be asked for your card details everytime you make a payment to us.
What happens to my Trust if Trusts On-Line stops trading?
You will have your Trust Deed, and minutes to date. You would simply need to administer your Trust in some other way in the future (ie via an accountant).
Do I have to get Trusts On-Line to administer my Trust?
No, you can set it up then get it administered elsewhere. Of course, the main benefit of having your Trust administered by Trusts On-Line is that it is cheap and easy, however you can decide how and when administration is performed. If you wish, you can register an existing Trust, and use us only for the administration. Also, if you have set up your Trust with us, you can opt for a maintenance package at a later date (via the Members' area).
